Alexandra’s work is focused on the retail, consumer goods and private equity sectors.
With over twelve years of business development experience, Alexandra has managed projects and teams across a range of sectors both in the USA and internationally. She works with the Sancroft team on issues such as ESG and SDG integration, responsible sourcing programs, product health, supply chain transparency and environmental regulations around water, chemicals and waste.
From 2007 – 2012 Alexandra worked at The Washington Post in a variety of roles, including corporate communications.
From August 2012, over a period of 10 months, Alexandra worked in various projects under the auspices of the Rwandan and U.S. governments, including USAID’s Management Sciences for Health (MSH) program in East Africa.
In October, 2014 Alexandra travelled to Afghanistan as part of the US Secretary of Defense’s Task Force for Business Stability Operations (TFBSO), advising stakeholders on private sector investment with the Ministries of Agriculture and Petroleum. She also worked on a multi-million dollar government program to enhance economic productivity in the Afghan cashmere industry.
Alexandra often speaks on panels on the topic of sustainable fashion in New York City. In 2017, she started a non-profit called Fashion FWD which focuses on detoxing supply chains and educating consumers about the impact the apparel industry has on health.
Alexandra joined Sancroft in 2016.
