Senior Analyst
Amelia is a Senior Analyst for Sancroft based in the UK. She provides research, analytical and advisory support across Sancroft’s areas of business practice, with a particular interest in sustainability strategy, responsible sourcing and health and wellness.
Amelia has extensive experience working with food and drink manufacturers, retailers and food service companies. Projects include the development of sustainability strategies and targets, leading materiality assessments, and supporting the publication of thought-leadership papers.
In the face of growing campaign pressure and legislative interventions by governments, Amelia has also supported clients in the food and drinks sector navigate this evolving landscape, and respond to emerging pressures. Amelia has worked with clients to develop bespoke health and wellness strategies which can be communicated effectively, as well as provided clients with insights into the legislative, campaign and policy context through subject specific briefings, research papers and webinars.
Amelia joined Sancroft in 2016 from Innovation Forum, a sustainability start-up focused on events. Prior to this, Amelia was part of the Corporate Citizenship Team at Samsung Electronics Europe. Amelia has a degree in Geography from Brasenose College, Oxford, after which she worked for a UN REDD+ management company in Southern Kenya. Amelia has experience in supporting the private sector in addressing social issues like youth unemployment and education, as well as environmental challenges linked to resource extraction and small-holder farming.
