Ivaylo focuses on developing sustainability strategies that are also good for business. At Sancroft, he specialises in strategy design, ESG integration in investment practices, and business contribution to UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Prior to joining Sancroft, Ivaylo spent five years as a senior consultant at the DNV GL’s sustainability services team. He was responsible for managing engagements with major UK and global brands across a range of services, including strategy design, report development, stakeholder engagement, Green Bonds’ framework development and second party opinions, report assurance, and bespoke assessments.
He started his career as a financial controlling management trainee at the Kraft Foods regional HQ for Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, in Vienna, Austria.
Ivaylo holds an International MBA degree from IE Business School in Madrid, with focus on sustainability and strategy. He did his BSc degree in Finance Management and attained the CFA UK Investment Management Certificate in 2017.
Ivaylo has notable work experience in Austria, Bulgaria, China, Japan, the Netherlands, South Africa, Switzerland, Thailand, the U.K., and the U.S.A. His mother tongue is Bulgarian, he is fluent in English and can speak basic Spanish.
