Mark is a specialist in corporate responsibility and business environment.
He has 20+ years experience in environmental-award-winning urban regeneration, delivery of foreign direct investment projects, and management of corporate real estate facilities.
Mark served as a Commissioner of Belfast Harbour from 2002-04. From 1996-2004 as a Director of Scarborough Development Group he was responsible for the regeneration of the former Royal Naval Base Rosyth in Fife. Mark has subsequently advised on Port, Marine, Infrastructure and Public-Private Partnership matters in the Americas and Europe.
He enjoys extensive connections in the Corporate and Political Arenas in the United States and has been active on a trans-Atlantic basis for over 15 years, advising corporate clients and as a Director of the Ireland-US Council and Trustee of The Presidents’ Club. In 2010/11 Mark authored Northern Ireland’s draft Global Diaspora Strategy, retained by the region’s outward looking Agencies to make recommendations regarding how to leverage strategic corporate connections, particularly in the United States.
Mark is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Member of the Association for Project Management.
