Ross Lakhdari

Consultant

Ross joined Sancroft in December 2017 after spending over 5 years working as a Consultant for a range of international organisations, governments, donors and corporations across the Middle East and Africa. Much of his work in this capacity was geared towards institutional reform and restructuring that aimed to enhance internal efficiencies and performance. Most recently, Ross led a multifaceted team of consultants on a long-term project to refine the structure, policies, procedures and practices within ECOWAS Institutions in West Africa. This involved reviewing key internal service delivery functions and bringing them fully in line with international best practice.

Ross is also accustomed with conducting impact assessments that provide meaningful insights and inform decision-making. Previous examples of his work in this field include conducting a study of the direct and indirect socio-economic impacts of the gold mining industry and examining the development impact of a multi-sector infrastructure project on a remote island on Lake Victoria.

In his spare time, Ross works closely with the Grow Movement charity as a Volunteer Consultant to provide business support services to small-scale enterprises across East Africa. He obtained an MSc Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and BSc Economics from the University of Sheffield.
